The pressing question is "how good was the cake?"
While it was better than an infinite number of cakes, it wasn't the best of all possible cakes.
That deer (shouldn't it be a fawn?) looks completely unthreatened by the orange icing.
Perhaps the deer knows that there's some hidden good or other in light of which it is all for the best. Maybe there's another layer of frosting between two layers of cake?
