Cottrill-Rolfes Chair in Catholic Studies

The University of Kentucky invites applications for the newly created Cottrill-Rolfes Chair in Catholic Studies. The College of Arts and Sciences seeks an outstanding academic with an expertise in the history, literature, anthropology, sociology, politics, theology, culture, institutional, or intellectual traditions of Roman Catholicism. The successful candidate will join a department that is appropriate to his/her academic field. Appointment will begin in August 2007. The successful candidate will be a distinguished scholar with a research and teaching record that is commensurate with an endowed chair. Salary and benefits are commensurate with those of an endowed chair. The endowment also provides a substantial research fund.
