Greetings all,
I wonder if anyone knows about the upcoming conference on the problem of evil at Purdue University, or if anyone plans on attending? See:
http://www.sla.purdue.edu/academic/idis/phil-lit/problem_of_evil.htm
I will be attending, and it will be nice to see some of the contributors to Prosblogion there if they go.
Regards,
Imran.

Unfortunately I didn’t know about this or else I would have gone. (It would sure beat my last conference.) I’m sure you’ll make a full report when you get back. Or better yet you could live blog from the conference!
I wonder if there is any way we could get audio of the “Evil in Analytic Philosophy of Religion” section. It would be nice to post it on the site for people that cannot attend. If anyone should happen to get a recording and would like to share it please let me know.

Huh. I hadn’t realized the problem of evil at Purdue U. is so bad that they’d need to hold a conference about it!

  • I live pretty close, so I have no good excuse. Though, it’s a pretty busy time of year, as I think we can all appreciate 🙂 Looking over the schedule I might very well come up for the saturday morning session with Rowe and Draper–I’ve love to hear those papers…

    Hi Matthew,
Yes, of course. I will make a report when I get back. I don’t think I’ll be able to do a live blog from the conference, unfortunately.
    Regards,
    Imran.

    Salaam Imran,
Hope you are doing fine. I’m still waiting for your website to work and to see your paper with your case against Flew’s paper: The ‘Presumption of Atheism’ Revisited
    Regards from Holland,
    Kamal
